FAQs
-
Do I need a partner to join your dance classes?
While many of the classes are designed as partner dances, you don't need to bring a partner to join! Instructors often rotate partners during class, so you'll have the chance to dance with multiple people and find your rhythm. Don’t worry if you're coming solo—everyone is welcome! You may be able to find a partner in class!
-
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Most dancers choose athletic wear or clothing designed for dance. For ballroom or Latin dance, we recommend dance shoes for optimal comfort and performance. Women typically wear shoes with a small heel, while men should opt for shoes with a hard, flat bottom for better control and balance during partner work.
-
Do I need prior experience to join?
No worries! The classes listed cater to many different levels, so whether you’re just starting or already have some experience, you’ll find the right fit. Choose the class that best matches your current abilities, and the instructor will help you grow from there!
-
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes, and shoes. If you’d like, you can also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
-
Can I take private lessons?
Yes, some instructors offer private lessons for those looking for more focused attention or to improve specific techniques. If you're interested in scheduling a private session, feel free to reach out for availability and pricing details.
